no real measurements... just get about 20ft of spa flex hose, some pieces of pvc(this part is kind of up to you and how you want to design it), carbon, and screens so when you run water through it the carbon doesn't come out. its that simple.

Where is the best place to get the carbon for inside the filter? Is there a local place on the South side of town and/or a good mail order place?

        Thanks

Maybe fshfrk will be kind enough to build and sell me one. This looks like it would attach to a python really well. I promise not to resell it. Honest.

i see alot of people say 'get fshfrk to build me one' but if you know how to use glue ,a skill most of us learned in elementary school, you can build one yourself. the only thing you really need is a list of materials. after building mine with 1" spa flex i would suggest a larger dimeter like 1 1/2". i think fshfrk would agree with the larger diameter pipe. i don't mean to take away from the genius of the DIY king, fshfrk was very helpful to me in providing advice for my build.
