Anyone got a DYI auto water change system?

When you posting your new tank, the first thing that came to my head was, "Damn, daily water change would suck cause the tank is so big." So it's got to be either a auto-water change system for a planted tank.

Why can't you get the water there?

I was going to integrate my carbon bottle into my auto water change system, but I'm stilling trying to figure it all out.

I get the water from my kitchen sink and its far. Since its the kitchen I would have to plumb it since I cant have tubes running from the faucet like the pics. To much work. Since it is so large I am going to test out doing a 50% water change ever 4-5 days. I am also not going to stock it that full. I plan on only having about 10+ discus and a bunch of tetras

Actually did one today and it took only about just under 2 hours.

Well I have Amazon swords and anubias in the tank. I am hoping the swords fill out the planted areas and make it nice and thick. I will have to take some more pics soon once the cabinets are finished on it.
