k2 mod

so to my understanding, i can mod my k2 by using an impeller from a maxijet? is this correct? if so, which one do i need? also would this cause in overheat or overload on the motor? i dont want to burn my house down...plus i read it spins the wrong direction sometimes???

its the same impeller for all of the mods, its the gs2 prop.
also, it will typically spin in reverse when first turned on, but just for a couple seconds and also when the power goes out.

it is capable of sucking up anything within 8-9" of the pump.
it can and will such up trophs or whatever else is in the way.
i would put a divider up until it spins correctly.

ok, if i read the link i posted correctly, and i am drunk so someone chime in if im wrong,lol

i believe you need the metal shaft from the maxijet 1200, and the highflow propeller from the sureflow mod.
combine the 2 and replace the stock prop assembly with the new highflow mod assembly.
plug it in, pray to god none of your fish get sucked in, and walla, 3000+gph of super wide flow.

suposedly the flow is comparable to a vortech mp40, i dont think youll get the same as a vortech, or more people would do this and everyone would say F*** ecotech marine,lol
but its still ungodly flow from a k4.
