If your tank is by the window you might want to think about running the garden hose. Water pressure from outside is always stronger.

Brian, Python is aware that there is a problem with the manufacture or materials that make up that fitting. About six months or so ago I called Python Products and the woman told me to send in the broken one and they'll replace it free. I bought the brass faucet adapter and a spare fill valve so that I always have a new one handy when the old one breaks. I send the broken one in and in two weeks the replacement arrives. A PITA but for me it's a viable option.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

I bought a connector piece so i can hook it up to the sink for like $5 and i've never had to replace anything. Works like a charm.
