take your ballast out. twist a few wires together and wire nut. You can convert your existing light into a LED light.

it mentions that the energy used is less then 19W.... most normal LEDs put out significantly less then 1W....
these probably wouldnt put out enough light for planted tanks... might be ok for a non planted or very low light plants.

I looked at the wiring diagram, John. It looks simple...will take just a few minutes to change over.
