  • Stand for 75 gallon

    Hi All,

Started building my stand for the 75 today. Frame and all supports out of 2x4's and the cover boards are all 1 inch pine. Using 3 inch screws and building my own doors.

Hope to finish up today ...spray paint it tonight.

First tank stand and so far has gone ok. Could have left the door openings a bit bigger but when done it will have 3 matched panels in front and look just like the stand next to it. (58gallon)

The door openings are still 9 inches so big enough should I want to add a eheim etc.

    Here are some pics

Please let me know if there is any problem viewing the pics.

Looks good! Just remember that if your going to use a canister filter, the door opening has to be large enough for the canister to fit through easily.

Thanks sunrise..good to get some feedback. I agree with you on the openings...are a bit smaller than would have liked but can fit eheim through ok. I made this stand to look like the oceanic stand that will be next to it.

I just added another pic of the stand in primer..still have to fill a couple more spots.
