Decided to set up an RO/DI for my discus tank and uses for drinking water since Houston is jacking with their water supply. I bought a 135G water tank from Tank Depot due to room I chose this one because its 28"D x 59"H. I set it up to circulate before use so it doesnt become stagnant and has a garden hose attached to pump the water out. Let me know what you all think.

Finally finished and hooked up my RO/DI. I took a measurement and the tap water came out with 280 TDS and 8.6 pH and the water going into the tank is 4 TDS and 6.0 pH. We tasted it and it tastes real light and the tap water tastes heavy and a slight metal taste.

Most places sell them for 200+ and the ones on the internet charge about $100 to ship.

I am not going to really do anything for temp since my discus love 85 temp and my garage is actually dry walled and what not so it doesnt get nearly as hot as many garages. I will acclimate them I am going to change some about 10-20% tonight then another 20% and so on.
