Ok so I tinkered with the unit. Previously I had been using the garden hose hooked up to the faucet outside. I thought that plumbing it into the house would be a pain. But after always seeing my garden hose in front of the house and if a winter freeze comes it would stop my production. So I decided to plumb the RO into the house and put an auto shut off. The plumbing was super easy and the guy at HD recommended getting the shark bite products. Cost a little more but made the job way easy. It works by simply plugging the line into the item whether that is a shut of valve or a T-connection. The item has teeth so that it clamps onto the hose and the pressure of the water in the hose actually makes the products grip even stronger. It took me about 15 minutes to do the whole thing.
