    found this on another forum. What do you think about this for backgrounds? Not sure on chemical composition, but i am sure there are some local stored that could get some. for the price it is very interesting.

    Not a bad idea just that those particular designs look a little to unnatural to my eye

      +1 you also need to make sure that it wont leach chemicals into the water.

        being that they are made for outside, i'd just about guarantee they have some fungicide/insectacide type chemicals. the easier goto is cement with some kind of rocks/shell in it ziptied to some eggcrate. you have to wait awhile and cure it for a few weeks, but it would be alot safer

          The first thing I noticed was it said 'Flame Retardant'. I would be worried that, like Darbex said, it might leach chemicals into the water.

          Let us know what you decide to do, or any additional research you come across.

              if you are set on using that product specifically you could always attach it to the outside of the tank, however you could also go to a tile store and get large pieces of ceramic tile that look like natural stone and use that inside the tank.
