  • White bottom on rubbermaid pond

Just put a diy filter in the pond. It is a powerhead mounted to a 8x8 tumbled travertine Ivory tile. Those dark namansi reef really show when they swim across it. So next weekend I will pull all the rocks and loose lay some travertine or porcelain tile. Make rounded cuts on the perimeter. It does not have to be perfect. I think the pond will look 10 times better. What ya'll think?

No cost I sell flooring for a living. I can hook up anyone else to with surplus tile. The color on a porcelain or travertine will last 100's of years. There's still travertine down from the roman era. You could go to floor decor and get a ctn for $10.00 or $20.00. It's cheap.

sounds awesome! get yourself some kind of acrylic/glass box to look through too . i think one of the little pico-tanks might do the trick.
