    They did surprisingly well actually.
The room temperature hovers around the mid 70s. The heaters kept the tanks nice and warm in the low 80s.
The discus love it. The pairs are laying eggs quite often.
The extra effort that i spent insulating the heck out of all the walls and the garage door worked outstandingly.

Sweet wondering how your room handled the temps.

You would also have Tom build a shed big enough for you to sleep in matt

Thanks for all the pictures and updates. It's awesome to see what you've done, all except for the part about gnawing my hand off in jealous rage. I have a 55 gallon that leaks that I took a risk on and lost at the garage sale. You can have it for free if you want.

Very nice I like the shim idea. A fulcrum and a lever works good too. But only I'd you're using a nail gun to hold it till you can drill it. Everything looks good. Any updates it been awhile

Looking very nice. I love seeing people clear out a room and call it a fish room. I think everyone should have one. ;0) Pure relaxzation!

Well, nothing has really changed since the last time. I added a single 75 gal which i got from jhenry.
But othewise, I have been spending my time tinkering with how to artificially raise discus fry.

I built this thinggamabob and i'm glad to say that it works quite well indeed! It has successfully raised two batches of fry beyond the point where they start eating baby brine shrimp and not need to be with their parents.
