I've studied the few methods commonly posted. I would like some input from those who have done this already. This is for salt reef tank.
Airpump pressurizing closed vessel method. Most say keep the air input line above the fluid level. Why not put a long air bubbler on the input line to add some agitation at the same time as tank pressurization? This would help keep kalk from settling, which I have also read is a problem. This can run on one timer.
Peristaltic pump method. (I sell pumps for a living) I am thinking towards having an air stone run for 30 min, and the fluid pump run for 15 minutes. Air stone would provide some agitation, before the fluid pump comes on. This could be dialed in to run once or twice in 24 hr using two timers.
Has someone come up with a better system?
