Yeah, they are all up and running. You've seen the 40gal, if not here, its up in the African Cichlid Section. The 40gal has the Victorians in it. The 20gal has my 1-1.5" Pundamilia Nyererei juvi/fry in it, and the 10gal has about 50 freshly spit Thick skin hap fry. Not really a sight to see, but I'll try to get a picture of this single awesome 1.5" Nyererei male. He's already coloring up bigtime and following in his daddys fins with being the mean bugger in the tank.

Well decided to make another stand for more (very un-needed) tanks. This one is still a little over-designed, but I think its much better than the first stand attempt. And this one took a fraction of the time. Im going to transfer the two tanks for the tall stand I made earlier to this one. Over time, I really started to dislike the tank that comes straight out - was a cool idea in my head, but turned out impractical.

I wanted it two tanks high, but still stand low enough to fit under my bar-height counter top. There will probably be four 20Long tanks to this stand. Going to make a trip over to Dave in SA and get a couple small groups of vics for top two tanks, and use the bottom two for fry.

Yeah, its still a bit heavy, but I couldn't figure out a way to do a design like this without having tank weight on a screw shear plane

I was about to start filling up the tanks... and got cold feet! Even though they are small tanks, the 64" 2x4 spans have me a little nervous. Each level will only have 400lb worth of tanks spread over the 64". Was really hoping I could get by with no vertical center bracing. Any thoughts?

              Thanks
