I was entertained by the balloon picture. I was thinking if the stains are all at the top of the tank, if you have to clean a tank in the future, would it not be easier to invert the tank into something that could act as a shallow tray--maybe 2-3" deep and use a lot less vinegar?
While I'm not reef ready, I am salt ernate lifestyle curious...

Frankly Sir, I would be quite happy for you to keep your logic and reason far away from me. I find it Vulgar and quite the buffer to my creative genius. "Shallow Tray" He says PSHAW and other such expressions to this I say!!

Hey, should some sweet young benefactor choose to bestow upon me large sums of cash, I'll make it whatever kind of tank you guys want. But as of yet said cash has only come from my personal checking account. But I'm always waiting on some nice lady with lots of cash to come sweep me off my adidas.

Ok guys what can I use to cut acrylic sheeting? My jig saw shatters it. Next try will be my dremel.

table or skil saw is best, with a carbide tip blade with 50 or more teeth. I've used a dremel before but its alot harder and the results were not as good.

I live in an apartment, all my tools are with my ex-wife. My dremel worked well enough. I used a straight edge and will sand off the rough edges. I dont need it to be perfect as far as clarity. Its simply a false wall. Thank you for your tips.

OK these may be ignorant questions but what is the screening for and why are you cutting acrylic? How well did the vinegar work?

The screening is for my moss wall. And I decided to cut the acrylic because after glaring sternly at it for several hours I decided it wasn't going to cut itself. You have no idea how disappointed I was to finally have to come to this conclusion.

Are you going to build a DIY C02 system or Store bought system?
