lucky bamboo nitrate filter

Anyone experienced with lucky bamboo as a nitrate filter?thinking maybe sticking some lucky in my overflow .

check out these videos some say that they work but I think you will need a ton.

theres gotta be a happy medium in lucky bamboo as a nitrate filter.ive read african cichilds like some nitrates for breeding.but to much nitrates can cause sickness and even death.so maybe just a few stalks to keep a lucky nitrate level?

you can get them in masses for cheap at hong kong city mall on bellaire and boone

as long as you have water and light then they'll do great. Just make sure that there is enough room because they can grow to 4 ft long but I guess you can trim it?
