  • Intake/Spray Bars

Just seeing how much interest there would be in custom intakes and spray bars. I made mine with about $15 in materials for a dual-canister spray bar but used a stock intake. So I bet it would be the same cost in materials for a single canister spray bar and intake combo. I use threaded pvc, so there's no need for any messy glues and sealants.

Can probably do anything you want, for any size canister with no additional effort to set up. I'm thinking a standard intake/spray bar combo would run 25.00 after paint and such. Let me know if you think you would be interested in a set

What size tubing for fluvals? Never used them. I know 2217 is 16/22 intake with 12/16 outtake. I can start on them tomorrow morning after swinging by home depot. Can have them made and paint dry to the touch sunday (just wont be able to put in take for another week or so). Text me at (248) 372-1600 and let me know how you want them.

I'm going to have to wait until my tax return comes in. My girl put a cap on my spending for the moment.
            I just saved your number.

Ill text you when I'm ready, probably like a week or so.
Let me get the tubing sizes for the fluval and ill hit you back.

Ill probably want one at first, it will be the fluval 305 first.
Ill pm the measurements as soon as I get home.

            I appriciate it man!

No worries, get me the sizes and how you want them made (along the back length of tank, along the width side of tank, under center bracing etc etc) Tank size would help too. I'll get going on them anyway.

It was from an extra filter. I'll have to look around for more clip suction cups. At the very least, i'll rig it up with an old maxi-jet suction cup

                    Ok cool.
I've got suction cups that will fit.
Tank size is a standard 75g. I want it to go along the right side of the top.
The side is inner dims are 17.5".
I want to get a fluval fx5 before I have anymore made.
It will go long the entire back of the tank.
Then the other 305 I haven't gotten back up and running to go on the other end.

Fluval 305 flow is around 300gph after media and head height.
Thanks bro, as soon as it's done pm me and I'll let you know as soon as my tax return is in and ill pm you to arrange for pickup.

305 tubing on intake and output are 3/4".

Hmm, are you using the fluval ribbed tubing or eheim tubing? Trying to figure out the best way to get a solid seal without a semi-elastic tubing.

Ribbed tubing, what I did on my fx5 diy spraybar was use a ribbed hose fitting as the connector between the spraybar and PVC.

If you still have it, snap a pic and send it to my phone if you can. So I know what kind of connections to pick up
