LoL, the site doesn't show much.

I have two that I got with the tank and its decent for what it is. Probably would never pay full price for them compared to an eheim.

the only mod they have that looks worth trying is the internal filtration mod.
Fishtafarian- Fish are more than just a hobby, they are an obsession.

            110 gal Tall (Angel Community)
            29 gal (Planted Puffer)
10 gal (snails and small planted)
            5 gal Hex (shrimp)

They are awesome mechanical filters. Given price, power consumption for the flow rate, and the fact that the intake and return are not an ugly green color, they are a good choice. However, without the mod to replace the media baskets, the Eheims are better overall filters. If you're only looking for mechanical, the FX5 is awesome.

I like fx5s BC they don't cost an arm and a leg but still give you good mechanical filtration, not saying 2260/2262s aren't worth the money though. At the same time sumps (wet/drys) have their advantages too. So i use both, fx5s and a sump for my tank...

If you shop around a bit you can buy 2 Fluval FX5 for the price of 1 Eheim 2262...

Cheapest I've seen on the Eheim 2262s were around $400. Or locally for $390~ after taxes.

My FX5 has been running for a few years and hasn't crapped out on me yet. It keeps my water clean in a 125g by itself.

I am a sump guy myself. I have canisters at my mom's house for less maintenance cause I don't go over there that much.
