New word for the month. Gabillion. So, i'll explain. I picked up a 3'x8' sheet of glass the other day. Since I have a few tank's that need glass top's and a sump tank that needs baffles, I figured this would work out perfectly.
I intended to offer the rest of the glass to those of you in need.
Well, I get out the ole glass cutter, make all measurements, make a swipe down the glass. Easy enough. Now, i've watched a few Youtube video's. They are very helpful mind you, if you can keep from getting a headache from all the camera mans movements.
So, I slide the glass to the edge of my work bench, take my little hammer and start tapping on the glass. Nothing. So, I tap alittle more, still nothing, tap tap tap tap. Nothing.
So, I tap alittle harder. Not with brute force or anything. Just alittle bit harder than a sissy tap.
Holy $h!t. What just happened.
Yeah, you guessed it. Now you no where the new word of the month comes from. It blew into a Gabillion pieces in my garage.
This is not exsactly a helpful DIY thread. And when they say "Don't try this at Home", there not joking.
This was meant for you guy's and gals like me that like to save a dollar and do thing's yourself. We ask alot of question's. We come to forums like this one for help.
So, consider this a helpful tip for the day.
