One suggestion... use a synthetic sponge in stead of an organic one, like a lufa. Organics will decompose. I've got a sponge filter still in the pkg. if you're ever down LaMarque way.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

You mean a sponge filter? It's very easy all you do is buy a sponge. Have a pipe run through the middle with holes drilled attach a powerhead or put an air stone. The air bubbles rise bring water in through the sponge and drilled holes.

I think I read about making one some time ago. The write-up mentioned putting the sponge material in water and freezing it so you could cut a perfect circle in the middle for the pipe. I cant remember what material they suggested, but I think it was from a hobby place.

The design works. Just that i need to buy myself a big luft air pump to run these four tanks. Thought about running a powerhead on them, but id have to drop like 25.00 on each tank! Times four tank. Yea ill opt for a big luft air pump
