Building a stand for my boys 40 gal. Still have to stain. Not sure on how to hang the door ,thinking magnets . I don't want to hinge it . What do y'all think ?

what kind of wood did you use to skin the tank? im thinking about building a canopy but im thinking of building something light weight. is that wood you use to skin light?
and maybe try a sliding door if youre not into the hinge idea. -

Finally got around to staining it ,Haven't got around to building the canopy yet . {I got my wife to pick me up another 40 gallon breeder during the $1 a gallon sale for "mock up" .LOL .Like I couldn't measure the one I have now .}
The door is completely removable ,its held on by magnets .
This is my youngest sons tank ,I tried to keep the tank eye level for him.
