Sup guys. Here is my 200 gal.

My apologies if I did not list you
and for this to be long winded

I sold my 135 stand tank and canopy and bought me a 7' ADG tank and stand. Before I first received this tank I had and drafted the tank in inventors with the idea of black pipe inside the tank and thought that Polyethylene pipe and fittings will do. Wrong, PVC and Poly are 2 different schedule and wall thickness. So to plumb inside the tank with the two I would have to use some sort of cement - all bonding type. And I did not want to do sch 80 gray but worst case scenario I would. So this built became a 1 - 2 week affair to 2 months and I am sure that Travis wanted to keep or eat my babies, LOL.
He was cool with it and gave me a name to go by for black pvc as the company in Cali was on back order.
Looked at Sunnys tank for idea on Plumbing and also spoke to Dan on many occasions for ideas.
So I got with the folks over at savko and oredred my Black PVC Pipe, Fittings and Valves and while i was waiting for shipment (week or sowhen material showed up at the door step); I already had a stand and canopy drafted. So I decided to re build a new stand and canopy to the height I liked it and color I wanted. So I gave out my old stand to a fellow boxer and that weekend went to work in buying material.
Lowes - cut to fit 2"x4", 4'x8'Hardwood Pine and Oak, Stain Bombay Mahogany 480, Gloss, Foam 3" brushes (for staining), small Nylon brushes (for Glossing), wood glue, wood shavings (get a ziplock bag full after they cut to fit your wood (lol, wooood), 12" continuous hinge, knob, sch 80 fittings and Unions
Home depot - foam brushes, gloss
    Walmart - wood screws

So here are pics ( I enslaved my little asian (pun intended) Nephew. I cracked that whip real hard...

Man this fuggn sucks. I had to photoshop to reduce files so I tossed the step by step out the window. You guys get the idea.
Im running 2 returns and 2 drains on a closed loop (all 4 bottom drilled holes) on an FX5. The wet dry is an ehsopps wd 300 with a mag 24 and sunnys bio bale and x2 - 1.5" drains straight to sump (herbie).
my return riser has from top- gate valve, wye check valve and ball valves. all ball valves are economy union so comes with both slip and thread unions. Every pipe fitting has unions and every hole except my 1.5" drains have ball valves.
My power head is a 3000 gph
                black schist rock as scape
                crushed coral and lpfs
                black silicone
                clear tubing

Saturday I get my babies home, and get something coming up as well. More trophs and petros
My apologies for not the step by step as I dont have time to re size all my pics in order to do a step by step.
                Just being lazy...
Thanks and hope this helps you not get divorced and save some time and money.
I did save and plan ahead some so that helped a bit.
                Goodnight

                Frankie

                    I almost forgot.
Doors will be added and I will redo canopy to my liking at another time. The wood was cut .25" shorter on the canopy plus I want another 2.5 inshes taller so that I can mount my 72" VHOS and leds with room for halides in the future. Will trim around that time as well.
I already have the hidden hinges for doors, same scheme as the knobs on canopy.
                    Thanks again.
