DIY sock filter for my sump

Hello everybody. I ended up making my own sock filter this past week. I was tired of cleaning my 7 x 14" sock filter all the time so decided to go big. Ha ha. I can now go for a few weeks with no problems. The filter media came from eBay and was a yard of fabric. This filter is so much easier to clean too. Just figured I would share

Instead of ordering fabric on ebay, why not get some from hobby lobby? Much cheaper IMO and you don't have to wait for the package. Kiko made some micron socks out of some stuff from there.

I spent like 7 bucks. And this is 100 micron specifically. And shipping was free to my house.

Im sure the stock sox is more then $7.00 all by it self....
