    hhmm.. Don't know what happened to the original thread.

    Anyways, here's what it looks like all said and done..
    The total height of the tank with the canopy is 5' 11".

                          Well, I am finally finished. Had some extra wood so I decided to make some shelves to go with the tank. Here's what it looks like all finished and done..

                            totally sweet, DIY'ers this is what you should aspire to. if you had to do it over again would you match the width of the stand to the canopy? not being critical its just a german thing...

                              The two side shelves are not attached to the stand. They are just set up next to it.
                              The stand and the canopy are the same width, except for the molding trim of the canopy.
