Just 6 whites for now. Have 2 extra hooks ready for either the 2 blues or two 8000ks. Those bulbs should be here in a few days. Sooo many damn power cords though! 3 timers, 4 extension cords for the 6 (soon to be 8) cords. I'll have I have bulb 2 and 5 on a timer for mornings and late night. The other 4 bulbs on a timer for rest of the day. Blues Ill have separate as well.

Those eyes look dangerous without glass tops. Hahaha do they have slack on the cord or they don't move any lower?

Yeah, I just threw eggcrate on the top until I get some glass cut for tops. At least it takes a perfectly executed splash to reach them. I have them tightened in the back, so they wont go anywhere

Why don't you get a electrical strip that has like 10-12 plugs on it for a cleaner look and less clutter

I have to do this to my new 125g setup. I was not sure how I was going to light it. This is a great idea.

I just got done researching the cost of doing this lighting on my 125g, it will about 130.00 to put 4 lights on tank. That will make it the cheapest lighting system on any of my tanks by far. Loving it.

I think I may try to do this. Get two 12.5" ecoxotic white and blue in addition to two of these.

sadly, me = clumsy kid and will probably mess up... if I ever try this.

Sunny, the crazy thing about this thread is that I was going to ask you about your lighting after the first time that i looked at your 450g tank. Very nice.
