    Well I finally got the glass to repair our 125gal tank today will post pics of progress

    What is the best wat to remove the plastic trim along the top

      Tried cutting the silicone with razor blade but apparently didn't get it cut good tried pulling the rim and it broke

        Any ideas on how to rim the top or where to buy another one i cant seem to find anyone with 125 gallon trim

          Those frames are a pain to remove, i tried on a 55G once but just gave up.
          As for a new one... Mmmm i know glasscages sells them but when i inquired
          they told me they only stock up to 48".

          I think you may have to phone Aqueon (If thats the brand) and ask them,
          don't email them you will never hear back.

            Any thoughts on possibly going rimless with it and maybe some bracing suggestions?

              I would try and get a replacement frame first, i know it will set you back a few days or so
              but that's what i would do. As far as bracing, you would probably have to get the same thickness
              glass and brace corners and center...

                The largest rim i have found so far is for a 90 gal. So im just tossing around other options.
