Making a stand

Can someone give me some pointers on making a stand? I dont know what kind of wood i need, what to build it with 2x4, 2x6, 2x8 (tank is 75 gallons).I want a stand like the one below but have no earthly idea on how to make it. my 75g is sitting on 18 cinderblocks... been happy for a few years that way. theres space for storage underneath, and when i want it to look nice, i have a black linen skirt i wrap around it. i can give more details if you want. best part- cost less than 50$

You can use 2x4s for a bare frame stand and then skin it with some nice plywood. To get it to look like that stand all you have to do is stain it

There's a few 75g stands on CL just have to restain it to the color you like.

I made mines out of 2x4 for the frame an then plywood for the sides it isn't a aaaa+ job but it looks decent and does the job

Stands are pretty easy. the one in your picture is 2+4s and ply wood. give it a try. you can do it...
