  • Mirror glass

I have a fish tank that has a mirrored glass on it from the factory. I want to take the mirror off. Has anyone done this and if so how did you do it.

I have had to let the algae grow on the back glass so that the fish wouldn't attack them self. As a result the tank looks bad but its actually really clean.

Yes I believe so, Its looks like it may have been baked on to the back of the glass. At one time I had a little PH buffer that ran down the back and it actually bubbled up a little of it. but I want to do something that will not mess up the sylicone

Take a razor blade to the bottom corner as a test spot. If it comes off then put some man power on it and remove the rest

Remove the back panel, get a glass panel and silicone it back. Let it cure in the sun for a day or two
