  • LED Project

I recently ordered in some led strips in from Ebay. They have a few kits to choose from. I ordered the one with a power source and the led's. it also came with a dimmer switch. $44.99 free shipping. Now the price has gone up $5.00. In the kit you receive 5 meters, About 16 foot of led's. i also ordered a 6 pack of connectors for $4.99 too. The strips of led's come with 3m glue on the backside and every 3 inches they have a place where you cut them to the size you need. Off to Home Depot to pick up some aluminum to mount the lights too, cost $5.50 for 8 foot sections. Sunny came over to help with this. The connectors were really easy to work. They are hinged so you open one side , place the led strip in and close it. Once it was all said and done I ended up with 2 six foot led strips that are very cost effective. For $61.00 you can't beat it! I will post pics on this later today. I'm stuck at Ford now having some service done so I have a little time for this. I will link where I purchased the strips from too. I still have 4 feet left over and connectors for another strip.

Looking forward to more info...I think Roy and I are tempted more and more every time we see another LED set up, the technology is definitely heading that way and it looks amazing.

Are you putting it on fresh or salt?

Not at all. The aluminum dissipates the heat quite well.

Make sure you order them when you order the lights.
