  • Need lighting suggestions and help finding parts!

I have a 48" coralife light that has (4) 24" bulbs and 4 blue leds in the back. Question 1: I need to replace the black plastic housing for the connectors.....where can I find those? See pics below... Question 2: what lighting (bulbs) should I buy for this if I'm planning to use it for a reef tank? Thanks in advance!

If theres 2 switches to control the different pc bulbs id go with 2 10k bulbs and 2 actinic if one switch controls all pc bulbs 50/50 bulbs will be fine and check the coralife website for the conectors

Those connectors look good, it may be the ballest that fires the lamps thats actually bad. If so you'll have to get a new one and wire it in. Ballest for pc lights are harder to find then t5 or t8 !

Well, those are the good connectors. The bad ones basically snapped in half.... I've had no luck finding them on the coralife site tho. Grrr...

Johnny: That's what I was curious about! It does have multiple switches, but I didn't think I would need 4 bright white bulbs. So, the actinic bulbs would be good for the other 2 slots? What exactly is an actinic bulb?

So, would I run them at the same time I run the bright whites? I only ask because it alreadt has 4 blue led's (on a separate switch) for the "moonlighting".
