180g bottom trim build

Ok so I finally had time to fab the bottom trim/ support for my 180g that I bought fromIMAG0067.jpg frontosaurous a couple of months ago. I decided to go with 2x2 aluminum and weld it into one piece. As of now I am putting a beval onthe outer edgIMAG0069.jpgIMAG0068.jpge for the weld

I like this. it reminds me of the old stainless frame tanks. It also gives me some ideas on my own build...

Did you do the welding? very nice man I had a steel framed tank a few years back.

You gonna mig or tig weld it..... I miss tig welding

Co worker is going to weld it for me, originally I wanted to use 1.5x1.5 but didnt have any in stock. I couldn't find any plastic trim online so I decided to go with what is available

I have some used trim off the bottom and top of a 210.
didnt know you were looking for it.

You can order the trim online fyi. But I think this way is soooo much better
