My tank is finally cycling with stability. Thanks to John (fshfrk) I have my wet/dry up and running. He recommeded to place quick disconnects on all the hoses; have a hose for draining and another one for filling up the tanks. The carbon snake flow is slower than the alternate so I will be using both when I do water changes on the tanks. John dd everything for me except for the cheap carbon filter.

P1100312.jpg drainer - hook up hose and drain the tank
P1100313.jpgfiller - attach to hose and then to the carbon snake

P1100317.jpg just a plastic container with a small hole drill at the bottom with silcone tubing and an airline valve. Fill it up 3/4 with water from your aquarium and mix with safe. Stir it good and let it drip into the tank while you are filling it back up. You might have to adjust the drip.
