Anyone done this before..any tips or hints.? Next step would be cleaning all old silicone with acetone. Am I correct?

Decided to do the secondary seals....they were gone. They etched the glass. Question should I seal the bottom first. Let it dry a week and then flip it over. To do the secondary seals. Not sure of the time frame to seal the secondary silicone to the primary bottom. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Done and primary is sealed.....waiting 3 days tell I will flip it. Being extra cautious being my first tank sealing.

Then its on to doing the bottom secondaries

                            Does NOT look like fun.

Thanks for posting though- never had to do this myself yet, it's nice to see the process. Looks great, btw!

Looks like a nice consistent seal. Certainly better than my first time!
