Fluval fx5 spray bar

I just started a DIY fx5 7ft spray bar its going into a 8ft 240g community tank. Im adding 2 fx5's 1 on each end of the spray bar. Just painted and waiting for the paint to cure before i add it to the tank. I'll post more pics and maybe a video once its installed and running

How u putting it in the tank ? Doesn't the tank have a center brace ?

Look good, that would move some water,

putting it is easy even with a center brace , pvc is a breeze to work with.

I made a spraybar for my 125gal tank but could not use it at the time when my HFB brothers set up my tank. The reason was because there was a leak and I had to fix the leak. Will put in on one day when I have some help. I got the dyi from another site, they listed all that you will need. Do not know if I can post the site here so if you want the site you can pm me.

its kinda hard to see but the spray bar has been running afew days now and its working great no leaks good water movement everywhere and the fish seem to like playing in the current, if i have time il post a video later

Very nice idea. But man fix that intake to be straight up. It looks silly like that

I have 3fx5's on here and the way the tank and lid is i cant hook the intake in the middle of the tank and i dont want 2 intakes on either side so for now until i figure out another way to set it up the middle intake is gonna stay like that, plus it really doesnt bother me having the intake sideways like that
