300 Gallon Tank Build Help

I want the shape to be a rectangular shape its going to be used to hold large fish and i want them to be nice and comfortable some recommended dimensions would be nice i also need a recommendation for a glass thickness calculator i have a 75 gallon on which i plan on turning into a sump for the 300 gallon i have a friend of mine that is a professional carpenter that is going to build me a stand and a hood i just have to build the tank any help would be greatly appreciated

was thinking of going with a 72"L*36"W*30"H and that would be around 335 gallons

will 1/2 inch thick be enough or should i go thicker?

Might have to go thicker or go for acrylic, Glass Cages does custom work and might have a general thickness for that size. Could always ask around on MFK, they have big custom tanks
