Haha - that's how it is here - Allen watches tv, I watch the fish and listen to the tv...   We don't have them stacked though....

I've always wanted a tank in a wall in my living room. Whenever we look at houses, I'll have to keep that in mind! Are the fans going to be noisy like a bathroom vent or quieter like a normal fan? Or are there quiet bathroom vents that I've just never run into?

No, they will be low speed fans. Just enough to move the air.
