Are you planning on making your own fog machine, or just buying one?
Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
yes fog maker on the way.... and thanks for the compliments.... this took about 5 days so far... working off and on... I have a conmputer fan inside for cooling.. 2 lights... and LED lights wired into the skull.... all the hood comes apart with hinges that have removable pins... and the electrical wire have plugs on them for quick disconnect... and the 6 outlet plug wired into the hood so I onluy have one plug..... screen mess is aluminum so it wont melt and it you notice the white pieces of wood on the side of the hood... those hold down the screen panels so the critters wont escape.. I have put a lot of thought into this...and I can say it looks really cool in person.... any one wants to see it.. it is at my shop in La Porte.... Coupland Signs 118 S 5th NOte: at the moment I have it set up in my warehouse .. I am waiting on the electrical guys to come and put a new outlet on the wall it is going on.... any one need close up pics.. just send me a PM or e-Mail me.... I would say I have about 500.00 so far invested in just stuff....... pipes , hoses, lights, tank, paint, and if I was to guess prob 50 hours in time... I would say it is about 90% done at this point.... tons of fun to make...
Had about 900 gallons now I am tired and selling them off...
It's a real treat to see the beginning to end pics......fantastic job all the way around....the guys over at Oceanic will be contacting you soon.... :)
Seriously Nice Work

Truth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.
well, it's just about ready for display..... I am waiting on the electrian to come and add an outlet to a wall...
here what we got...
3 section of land mass with
water fall .... river...... skull with red LED eyes..... 2 trap door (screen mesh) for maintenance....... I plumbed in the intake and outlet for the canister filter.... I have plumbed in a airline that works a underwater casket and a skeliton pops up and down... I add a powerhead (but think it's too small) for more water movement..we actually have ripples on the lake..... I have 4 flashing strobe lights that has a hidden button.. (so when I am talking to people about it... I rest my hand on the top where the buttom is... and wa-la we got freaking lightning.... I was gonna run a hose (I have it) to simulate rain by the turn of a valve...Hood comes apart in two sections for cleaning.. have hinges with removable pins so I can remove the top section.. and still leave the trap doors so the lizards do not escape.... . , this thing is a mechanical work of art....Oh and I fogot.... I got the FOG machine on the way..
thank you for all the nice comments.... I welcome any one to come by and see it.... it is fun and a lot to look at even without the lizards, frogs, and fish......
I hope to have it fully up and running with residents by next week....

it is great stuff.... BUT, for ponds so it is fish friendly.. and one note if any one is gonna do one of these or use that stuff..... it does expand quite a bit... and then contracts a little... I have it on seperate stand alone panels... so if you put this directly on the aquarium glass... GO EASY take your time ... let it expand a couple hours and then add more as needed.... if you add too much.. It may break the glass....
