silicone Remover by DAP
I was at LOWE'S today buying some paint for the back of an aquarium and other assorted goodies and I found this product. New I think.
"Softens old silicone for easy removal"
"won't harm most surfaces or finishes"
"Low Odor"
"wear hand & eye protection"
"Contains Aliphatic Hydrocarbon, Sulfuric Acid & Sulfonic Acid"
Instructions
1 - cut back unwanted silicone
2 - apply silicone-be-gone
3 - let stand 30 minutes
4 - wipe off with a clean cloth
5 - scrape any remaining residue
6 - rince with soap & water
7 - reapply new sealant
Anyone tried this stuff ? Comments ?
Guess I'll try this on the 175 bowfront I need to reseal.......
