I ordered some rotifer cists from Aquatic Eco Systems, but there were so many otther things I couldn't leave without buying...........
Banana worms are most likely either Radopholus similis or Pratylenchus goodeyi
They culture like MW but you smash 1/3 ripe banana into the culture. They are found naturally in the roots of banana trees where they are a large problem for growers due to their hardiness and reproductive rate. They are smaller than micro worms and stay alive in tank water far longer than micro worms.
