yea 5- 1/4 holes. water bubbles out the top which is the bottom of the bottle. i will post pic tonite with it running.

I guess I'll be uploading more pictures tonight.  Just make sure you take them before the game starts.

No, seriously.. How can you tell when its time to change carbon? How are you sure you have enough carbon in the filter when filtering the water?

i got a little filter for the fridge and it said 20,000 gal to replace it. so i know how much water changes i do. so i could calculate it out but i would scratch a date on bottle and just throw it out after 1 year. these things take about 20 minutes to make. lifeguard, yea 1 more pic. maybe after a couple of more years of watching you down load those pics i'll finally get it

No, seriously.. How can you tell when its time to change carbon? How are you sure you have enough carbon in the filter when filtering the water?

well the safe way would be to buy a chlorine/chloramine test kit and run some water thru it into a bucket then test it for chlorine/chloramine.

yea i bought one from a swimming pool place. it wont show any chlorine. but the guy that runs the water plants in my subdivision has a test kit for me. i just haven't gone over to get it.
