    can i glue pvc pipe with regualr pvc glue and primer and it be ok to use in my tank!

    yes. i do it all the time. give it a day or so to cure

      If it's good enough to use with drinking water inside the pipe.
      Then it outght to work the same with the fish water on the outside.

        yeah it has been curing for about 6 hrs or so and i can still smell a hint of fumes so tomarow it is

          If you read the labels it will say if it's safe for water use. As long as you let it cure you will be fine.

            that case is not always true... copper is human safe but not fish and etc...

                i like to use silicone instead of the glue if you ever have to break it down and move or you just want to claen out the pipes it is alot easier to take apart.

                    just glued my wet dry return pipe, let it cure for 5 minutes, and stuck it back in the tank..................fish still fine after a month now. lmao. the purple primer from home depot, and the glue also. don't remember reading whether it was safe for aquariums or not, but plumbers been using it for Decades, and like someone said..........we drink it
