Ele blue fry spit early
Was going to move the holding female into a tank where there is some older babies. When she swam into the net she spit all the babies out! I dont think it was just time yet but.....will the new fry be ok in a 29 with 1 inch babies. They are being held up in the net for now.

They seem to be. They (20)all are gathered at the top of the water while 6 of them are dead at the bottom of the net. They just seem smaller than the last ones so I am worried they wont servive.Comment

Go get a divider for the tank because newborn fish are basically food for almost any other fish including slightly older babies who will hunt then down and kill them. This is what I had to do to make my fry survive.

Wish I had read your post 20 min ago. I lost 15 fry, saved the other 5. Im going to get a divider now. Can say the other blue babies have alot of protien in their diet now!Comment
