3rd grade science project - Need books on livebearer breeding

    I think the teacher expects him to go to a library or a bookstore. The messages basically says internet resources are no good.

      The papers in pubmed are published in print in scientific journals. When you print it out you can find the full citation.

        That's true, but that's also what an adult would do. Not necessarily a third grader.

        I would let you borrow my livebearer books, but I'm in Pasadena. :( I think the library would be a great option. Much cheaper than buying a few new books, too! And very educational.

            I forgot this was for third grade! LOL

            I've never found any good books on our hobby let alone this specific topic in major chain bookstores. It will have to be good old fashioned indexes in libraries then. In this case i suggest one of the older ones.
