128 Electric blue cichlid fry.

This was my first try at breeding. Just standard three females to one male. In a 55 gallon tank. What is the norm for these cichlids to have?

Haps will breed you out of tank space in no time . I've had females that were barely 3" produce 25+ fry . I've also had big 4" to 5" females give me 50+ .

They gave me a reason to buy a new tank set up. I didn't know I had so many until we counted them. It was a three inch female. I am breeding my bumble bee cichlids now. I want a tank of bumble bees and electrics. They are my personal favorites.

Wait until you start reading about tropheus and petros... then the addiction will really begin. :)

ok started reading up on tropheus and now i want to look into chimbas they look great.
