  • Breeding not so hard;

    I bought 5 tiger barbs at Petmart/Petco for tank I keep at a nursing home. Temporarily (one week) put them in a planted empty 29 until I took them to the home. 3 weeks later I noticed movement in the tank; it is a few baby barbs. I am suprised some eggs escaped the snails in the tank. No filter, no heater, no food; raising fish isn't that hard.

    Yes, I think it is so cool when that happens. But it usually only happens when you move the fish out of the tank. if the parents stay in they usually eat the fry. :(
