20L until they hit 1" with sponge filter and frequent water changes at high temperature . . . then 40G after 1" with big HOB and frequent water changes at high temperature
(if you want to grow them quickly)Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

You keep mentioning " High Temps." What are you calling high temps? 80-85 I'm only asking because I have fry quite often. My water is always around 80.Originally posted by armthehomeless View Post20L until they hit 1" with sponge filter and frequent water changes at high temperature . . . then 40G after 1" with big HOB and frequent water changes at high temperature

Depends on the number of fry. My empress routinely spit 40-50, they're fine in a 15G for a month to a month and a half, then into a 40G. I just moved about 50 of them into the 40G today.210G Malawi haps, peacocks, and clown loaches
