Well my female Elongatus has been holding for a few weeks now. I've noticed that under her jaw it was getting bigger here lately, so i set up a 10gallon for her and shes been in there about 3 days. Well I was in the tank room shutting off lights and noticed a little guy swimming around. She still has eggs in her mouth from what I could see. So it shouldn't be long till the rest are out and about. This is her 3rd holding. I didnt know about the 1st one until I saw a little guy swimming around in my 75gallon with all the other fish. LOL On the 2nd batch I think she ended up spitting or swallowing them shortly after I cleaned the tank. :(
