Just an update - male guarding, wigglers still wiggling, hope they may be swimming tommorrow.
Also found a nest under the glass in the center of the community tank - day after removind 2nd filter - pearl gourami was really red today and even did some fancy dance with one female instead of beating her up  8O. Too bad for him water level is not stable enough.
Might need more tanks I guess  

PS. Pearl gourami male came from fish gallery too. Strange store - never had "good fish" trying to breed at first opportunity like that before

Thank you - it's really exciting to watch them grow and male looking after them
Most of the fry started eating BBS - I can tell them by color of the stomach  :).
Can somebody give me an advice:
How often should I re-hatch BBS? Do BBSs die, or grow too big fast?

The way I understand it is that BBS lives for about 5-6 hours in freshwater ie after you take them out their hatching system.  Adults BS will live for about 12-24 hours in fresh water.  If you can feed them 3 times a day then you should be fine.  With all of my Fry I used finely grounded up food and a syringe and just made a cloud over the fry... they would chew it down in no time.  But then again I had pink convicts not German Rams.

How fast do they BBS grow? Any idea how fast will they get too big for fry to eat?
I started with "infusoria" water mixed with flake food dust in a syringe, it seemed to work so far, if I see them all eat BBS tommorrow, I am going to switch to BBS only

BBS will speed up their growth too.. I would make sure that I feed both for a couple of days.  The bigger ones will take the BBS while the smaller ones might only be able to eat the finely grounded up meal.  As long as their stomachs can handle it, they will eat (they are vacuum cleaners right now) and will eat till they burst..
