if i was netting the fish sunday anyway,i would take a quick peek in her mouth.if the eggs have hatched,strip her.if not,wait another week.i use a 5 gal bucket half full.open her mouth and hang her head in the water.fronts are 1 of the easiest to strip.fry are hardy.good luck.

OK....an update.

I didn't mess with my 125g until last night.  I setup a standard 20g tank on my computer desk alongside my computer....I know.

I put a thin layer of Pool Filter Sand, two med sized pieces of holy rock and one slate.  Standard lighing, Maxi-Jet 400 with a sponge filter and a DIY sponge filter driven by a air pump.  

I moved her last night and she is still holding.  I don't know if her mouth will stretch any more so she should spit anytime.  She is doing well.  She adjusted with no problem.  All I can do now is wait.
