I got some somewhat decent pictures of the babies. I know they're still a little fuzzy, but I'm not a professional photographer nor have I ever claimed to be. Let me know what you think : )
They're googly eyes are just so cute!!!
This is Mr. Grumpy-Pants. S/He looks like it's pouting. Hehe
I know this isn't a baby fish, but I just thought the picture was really cool.
Woogie :) Awesome pictures !!! I hope one of these days you will come down to Houston and meet us all at the GHAC meeting -- You did a great job with the fish there :)

She could have.. It just didnt register in my old mind... you know with my Alzheimer, Parkinson and my brain lobotomy done yesterday, I seem to forget a lot of things these days, including all the fine folks who have shown over time at the GHAC meeting that I never meet :)

I haven't met any of you yet, don't worry. I was in Houston this weekend, but didn't bother mentioning anything because I was a little busy partying..haha.
Well as you can see some of us didnt leave until 5am -- yeah a little later than usual, but we where still there :) :) :) :)
I do hope you take a few minutes to stop by the meeting one of these days if you have a chance :)
Did you come to Houston for an event ?

good job on them......
hopefully you will come to our club meeting soon so we can meet you......i feel a kindred connection from our heartfelt poetry we used to have until somebody mucked it up for us.....
Fishlady, I agree. Hopefully the connection is still there in person. Haha.
Zulaab, I went to Houston to visit some friends who had just moved from Plano to down here. I was having a pretty bad week, so we all went to Galveston to cheer ourselves up. Haha.
Cool :) I am glad to hear that you had a good time :) Galveston is always interesting place to hang out for a bit (at least I think so) ...
I will agree with others :) I do hope you take the time and come to one of our meetings and meet all of GHAC members and share in the fun of the social gathering it is :)

Thanks y'all. And yeah, they're hardy little fishies. Over Spring Break, right before my roommate left, she noticed that the heater was no longer working and the temp dropped 10 degrees. She left the light on and cranked up the heat in our room and they did just fine! I love the little guys. I'll let y'all know when they're big enough to go to new homes. Until then, they're just chillin' : )
I plan on using these young males to father my fall fishes .
I have 3 nice red females coming in from Lousiana and we will see how the genetics work.
I know orange is a recessive form of red so first generation should give me all reds & second generation should be 25% orange,
I'm not sure if butterfly is dominant or recessive...... so we will find out. (mad Scientist laff)
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
