  • Hatching rainbowfish eggs!

    Hi guys!

I'm trying to hatch some rainbowfish eggs. I have tried to read instructions online, but I think the instructions I am finding are trying to overly complicate things. I know hatching eggs isn't a simple thing, but has anyone had experience doing this? If so, can you please share some insight on how?!

That helped alot R thank you...
I am not a rainbow person but most fish that lay eggs have to have their water right. ( PH KH ) the softness or hardness of the water. some need very low PH some High. Get them in the right water. Give them all the things they need to spawn and they will do the rest.

any luck with the rainbow breeding? I have had a few dwarf survive in a species tank, it is a heavily planted tank. My turquoise tank spawn reqularly but I cant keep everyone from eating the eggs as they are laid. im trying to find a way to allow the fish to spawn above moss but through a smal wire basket so I can retrieve the eggs. my dwarf fry are real small and eat crushed flake.
